Cinema operator license


Who should apply?
An operator shall not be granted a certificate unless:-
1.He possesses a minimum general education up to class VIII standard and has completed two years apprentice training in operation of projector machine.
2.He is thoroughly conversant with the Municipal bye-law and other rules relating to cinematograph exhibitions and precautions against fire.
3.He is acquainted with the speediest and effective methods of dealing with fire.
4.He possesses a fair knowledge of the elements of electric power, direct and alternating current, voltage, amperage, etc. and in the case of muffasil operators, a working knowledge of petrol and oil engine, if such engines are over used for exhibitions;
5.He is proficient in the handling, winding, repairing and efficient cleaning of films; and
6.The certificate shall hear, affixed upon it, a certificated photograph of the holder.
Documents Required:
1.Two years apprentice training in operation of Projector Machine.
2.Three copies passport size (2*2.5) photograph, duly attested by a Gazetted officer.
3.Certificate from the Headmaster of the School with regards to general education.
4.Certificate from the Proprietor or the Manager and experience Cinema Operator of the Cinema Hall with regards to apprenticeship.
15 (Fifteen) working days from the date of submission of application, completed in all respects along with documents as per checklist.

Rs. 20/- (Rupees twenty only)

Treasury Challan under the “0043 – taxes and Duties on Electricity."
